The Venice Area Quilters Guild
serves approximately 300 quilters in Southwest Florida.
The Venice Area Quilters Guild is made up of quilters of
all skill levels from beginner to professional, with interests
as varied as our experience levels. We strive to promote
the love of quilts, to encourage and preserve the art of
quilts and quilting and to share friendship as well as
knowledge with others
The guild meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month,
September through April, at 7:00 PM in the Venice

Palm Beach County Quilters' Guild presents "Quilts of
Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow" - a judged quilt show,
North Palm Beach Community Center, 1200 Prosperity
Farms Road, North Palm Beach.
More than 100 quilts will be exhibited in a judged show,
with special exhibits including a doll exhibit and the Guild
Quilt Collection. A Small Quilt Silent Auction, as well as a
Chinese Auction are part of the fun; numerous vendors
will be selling a variety of quilt-related items. Raffle
quilts, Guild sale tables and boutique, and free
demonstrations are part of the event, and there will be
quilt appraisals by Teddy Pruett and scissor sharpening
on site. Door prizes awarded both days; bus groups
welcome. Admission is $6.
