HERE ARE THREE GREAT
BOOKS FOR ANY CHILD THAT
LOVES DOGS..
Ingredients:
Salt
1 cup orzo
1 cup frozen peas
4 carrots, sliced
Drizzle of honey (optional)
1/2 cup grated parmigiano-reggiano cheese
Pepper (for people's portion only)
Directions:
1.Bring a medium pot of water to a boil, salt
it, add the orzo and cook until just before
al dente, about 7 minutes. Add the peas
and cook for 1 minute; drain and return the
pasta and peas to the pot.

2.While the pasta is cooking, in a medium
saucepan, cover the carrots with water
and bring to a boil. Season with salt and
cook until tender, about 12 minutes. Drain,
reserving about 1/2 cup cooking water,
then transfer the carrots to a food
processor. Add the reserved cooking
water and honey, if using, and process
until smooth.

3.Stir the carrot puree into the pasta and
peas. Stir in the parmigiano-reggiano.
Portion out half for the dog and let cool
before serving; season the people's
portion with salt and pepper.
Try to imagine the holidays from your dog’s point of
view. Your house is changing on a daily basis. Furniture
is moved around. Nothing is where it used to be. There
are strange trees and plants that used to be outside that
now are inside. There are new sounds and smells. Very
little is familiar. All sorts of people are coming to the
door, and some are even staying overnight.
The holidays are all about family, friends, fun and food -
but sometimes it's easy to forget about holiday safety
for your dog. We all want our dogs to be part of the
celebration, but there are some important guidelines to
follow. Keep your dog safe this holiday season - no one
wants their holiday celebration to end up at the
veterinary emergency clinic!
Just My Dog
He's just my dog.
He is my other eyes that can see above the clouds;
My other ears that hear above the winds.
He is the part of me that can reach out into the seas.
He has told me a thousand times over that I am his  reason for being.
By the way he rests against my leg.
By the way he thumps his tail at my smallest smile.
By the way he shows he's  hurt when I leave without taking him.
When I am wrong, he is delighted to forgive.
When I am angry, he clowns to make me smile.
When I am happy, he is joy abound.
When I am a fool,He ignores it.
When I succeed, she brags.
Without him, I am only another person.
With him I am all powerful.
He has promised to wait for me...whenever...
In case I need him; and I expect I will---
As I always have.
He's is my dog.
